JoAnn Hill Eaves, 63, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at her residence in Sulligent, AL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:00 am at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, College Street location with Rev. Joe Mosely officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eaves was born on January 30, 1956 to Charlie Mae Walker of Sulligent, AL and the late Joe W. Hill, Sr.. She was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church and worked for many years as an office manager for GLA Construction. In addition to her father, she was proceeded in death by her brother, Joe Hill, Jr.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her Husband, Ricky W. Eaves of Sulligent, AL; Children, Leigh Ann Atkins (Mark) of Gautier, MS, Caleb Eaves (Jordan) of Columbus, MS, and Hannah Hatcher (Harrison) of Starkville, MS; Sisters, Kathy Young (Frankie) of Steens, MS, and Lynn Short (Jimmy) of Caledonia, MS; Grandchildren, Cheyenne Atkins, Dakota Allen, Heath Hatcher, and Hayes Hatcher; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Young, Charlie Lowery, Jimmy Hill, Coleman Stapp, Donnie Harrel, and Casey Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bo Williams, Mark Dodson, Brandon Bushey, and Phillip Bell.
