Jo Carolyn Brown Conner “Sis,” age 58, of Caledonia, MS, passed away June 7, 2020, at her residence.  Graveside services will be Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 2:30 PM at Ross Cemetery in Hamilton, MS.  Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2020, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 716 2 ^nd Ave. North location.

Mrs. Conner was born February 14, 1962, in Amory, MS, to the late John E. and Jo Seely Brown, Jr.  She grew up in Hamilton, MS, and married her husband of 31 years, Dale Conner of Caledonia, MS.  Mrs. Conner enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, gardening, video games, card & dice games, and spending time with family.  She was one of the most sweet and selfless people and was known as “Mom” to so many, she was loved by so many more.  She loved spending time with her grand dogs Ash, PupPup, Trampy, Dancer, and Spock.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruby May Brown and John E. Brown, and Irene Seely and Curtis Seely, her favorite aunt, Reba Conn, and her many dogs Mickey, King, Piper, and Demon.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Amber Conner (Nikki Hawkins), son, Austin Conner (Shea Lucas), son, Avery Miller (Shelly Miller), brother, John Brown, III, sister, Ginger Fishel (late Todd Fishel), sister, Marylin Hanna (Marty Hanna), brother, Roman Brown (Kim Brown), honorary children, niece Heather Brewer, Patrick & Courtney Quillen, Eric & Amy Edwards, Deianira Wright, Nick Kolbert, Lance & Lillian Lejeune, Seth Lejeune, Micah & Chrissy Hayward, Danielle Shelton, Preston Gibson, Nicole “Nikki” Hawkins, Michael & Ashley Tedford, Tucker Beasley, Brice Winter, nephew Johnathan Brown (Makayla Petty), Lauren Hendrix, Johnathan Taylor, Chris Neal, Lee & Candace Loper, Lee Howard, Kim Rhoades, and Les Nerren, and honorary grandchildren, E. J. Edwards, Symone Kimbrel, Eli Edwards, Emma Lejeune, Bradley, Sarah Grace, & Kensley Brewer, and Mandolynn Miller, many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, dear friends & family from bowling, and best friend Pamela Nerren and many others.

Pallbearers will be Lance Lejeune, Avery Miller, Micah Hayward, Nick Kolbet, Johnathan Brown, and Patrick Quillen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brice Winter, John Brown, III, Roman Brown, Linda Barham, Les Nerren, Pamela Nerren, PupPup Conner, Ash Conner, Spock Conner, and Eric Edwards.
