Jimmy Berry, Jr., age 84, of Columbus, MS, passed away September 20, 2021, at his residence.  Graveside services will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location.

Mr. Berry was born February 18, 1937, in Webster County, MS, to the late James Curtis and Mary Hurst Berry.  He retired from United Technologies after 42 years.  Mr. Berry was a member of McBee Baptist Church, was a great coon hunter, and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Peggy Ann Wells Berry of Columbus, MS, son, Jimmy D. Berry of Columbus, MS, and brother, Morris Edwin Berry of Nashville, TN.
