Jeanette Therese Zaremba
April 8, 1948 — February 9, 2024
Jeanette Therese Zaremba, 75, passed away peacefully and met the Lord on Feb. 9, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1948, in Floodwood, Minnesota and made Columbus her home in 1979.
A member of Annunciation Catholic Church, she was a dedicated Sacristan for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Romanek, and her mother, Josephine Koziol; her sisters, Carolyn Romanek and Arlene Romanek Rieke; and her brother, Leonard Romanek.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth; her children, Mary Burns (Robert), Kenneth II, and Elizabeth Walters (Brandon); her granddaughter, Lilia Burns; her brother, Ronald Romanek, and her sister, Barbara Romanek Gilmore, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service at St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Valorie Miller, RN, and the staff of Sanctuary Hospice for the compassionate and devoted care provided.
Memorials can be made to Sanctuary Hospice in lieu of flowers.
