Jaynette Robertson

March 17, 1938 — July 15, 2023

JAYNETTE ROBERTSON - Jaynette Hope Robertson, age 85, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 15, 2023, at Trinity Healthcare.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Matt Moehring officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Lone Oak Cemetery in Steens, MS.  Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Robertson was born March 17, 1938, in Columbus, MS, to the late William Felix and Mary Sue Gunter Hope.  She attended Lee High School and worked at the Columbus Air Force Base and Willcutt Block.  Mrs. Robertson also worked for many years as the youth director at the Salvation Army Church.  She was a member of Kolola Springs Baptist Church and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edgar Robertson, Sr., brothers, Junior Hope and Pete Hope, and sister, Billie Hope Lane.  Mrs. Robertson was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her son, James E. " Jim" Robertson, Jr., and his wife Pam of Caledonia, MS, daughter, Susan Robertson Welborn and her husband Ed of Duluth, GA, grandchildren, Carley Robertson, Cooper Robertson (Kaylie Gibson), Trey Robertson, Ashley Hart and her husband Chris, Scott Welborn and his wife Libby, Collin Welborn, and Mitchell Welborn, and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, 848 Adams Ave., Memphis, TN, 38103.
