JAMES SHAW – James Bradley Shaw, age 67, of Caledonia, MS, passed away January 17, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 903 College St. location. The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery of Caledonia with military honors. Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2020, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location.
Mr. Shaw was born December 12, 1952, in Columbus, MS, to the late Earl and Barbara Rigby Shaw. He served in the United States Army from 1973 – 1981.
Survivors include his wife Mary Alice Kelly Shaw of Caledonia, MS, children, James Bradley “Jamie” Shaw, II and his wife Shannon of Brandenburg, KY, Jessica Turberville of Newborn, GA, Roger Dale Poteet and his wife Vanessa “Miss Alabama” of Columbus, MS, and Michele Poteet of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Lee Cummings, Rebecca Sullivan, Karlie “Miss Daisy”, Abbigail “Miss Buttercup”, Robin West, Gracie Turberville, great grandson, Jax West, and sister Kim Ledlow and her husband Pete of Starkville, MS.
Pallbearers will be Robert Wilson, Roger Poteet, Marvin Beard, Lee Cummings, Spencer House, and Delany Hise.
