James Stanley Montgomery of Columbus, Mississippi

JAMES MONTGOMERY – James Stanley Montgomery, age 60, of Columbus, MS , passed away November 6, 2019, at his residence.  A visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 2 ^nd Ave. North location.  A graveside committal will be held at a later date at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, TX.

Mr. Montgomery was born October 5, 1959, in San Diego, CA, to the late James Otis “Jimmy Roy” and Betty Richardson Montgomery.  He was a graduate of Skyline High School of Dallas, TX.  Mr. Montgomery worked as an auto mechanic and manager for many years and formerly owned and operated Columbus Computers.  He loved and cherished his time spent with his granddaughter.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Montgomery.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Montgomery of Columbus, MS, sisters, Dee Harmond of Allen, TX, and Carolyn Fratt of Allen, TX, granddaughter, Naomi Montgomery, nieces, Addison Boone and her husband Carson, Ashley Harmond, and Kennedy Fratt, and nephews, Hunter Harmond and Grant Fratt.
