BILLY DISON James Curtis “Billy” Dison age 88 died Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Garden Hill Assisted Living in Columbus. A funeral service will be held Friday August 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Luke Lawson officiating; burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home Mr. Dison was born on October 30. 1933 in Lauderdale County, AL to the late William Mack Dison and Lettie Blanche Simpson Dison. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Dison was a retired employee of GenCorp after 29 ½ years of employment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Dison.
