IVAN DELGADO

Ivan Delgado, age 86, of Columbus, MS , passed away January 12, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Delgado was born August 15, 1934, in New York, NY, to the late Guadalupe and Graciela Lyon Delgado.  He was a graduate of the High School of Math & Science of New York, the City College of New York, and then received his masters degree from New York University.  Mr. Delgado retired as a computer system designer and analyst.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Josephine Perea Delgado, son, Jon Eustace Delgado and his wife Marica LaDonne of Starkville, MS, daughter, Yvonne Marie Linder-Delgado of Keansburg, NJ, sister, Iris Newsom of Lewes, DE, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
