HOWARD RICHARDSON

Howard Clay Richardson, age 80 died Monday, January 31, 2022, at his residence in Ethelsville, Alabama.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home, 716 2nd Ave N.

Mr. Richardson was born on Wednesday, July 2, 1941 in Columbus, to the late Lelon Richardson and the late Lottie Jones Richardson. He was a longtime member and Deacon at Murrah’s Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Richardson was a retired employee of C&G Railroad, and was a farmer and a cattleman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Sons, Howard Clay Richardson II, (Hyon) of Byron, GA and Loyde Darwin Richardson (Heather) of Ethelsville, AL., and Mark Rice, (June)

Siblings: Faye, Wilda, Ott, Larry and Johnny

Grandchildren: Jack, Matthew, Zachary, and Jennifer
