Helen Harrison Wright

Helen Harrison Wright age 88 died Sunday November 24, 2024 at her residence in Columbus. Graveside services will be held Wednesday November 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Gillon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at cemetery.

 Mrs. Wright was born on July 12, 1936 in Indianola, MS to the late J.V. Harrison and Mary Tankesly Harrison. She was a long time member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS, graduate of Greenville High School and Florida Business College. She was a retired hotel manager and a co-owner of Wright’s Painting Service.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Roy W. Langford, and second husband William A. “Billy” Wright.

Survivors include Children:

Cynthia Langford Waites, Roy Wilson Langford, Jr., Curtis Ray Langford

Sisters:

Beverly Pruden, Barbara Dorris, Melanie Harrison

Brother:

Jerry V. Harrison, Edward F. Harrison

4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren
