HELEN TAYLOR
Helen Marcel Taylor, age 89, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 3, 2021, at The Windsor Place. Graveside services will be Friday, July 9, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton, MS, with John Beasley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 9, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 716 2 nd Ave. North location.
Mrs. Taylor was born April 4, 1932, in Smithville, MS, to the late Samuel Carter and Mary Leona Pickle Strickland. She retired from Seminole Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Floyd S. Yarbrough, Sr., Junior Strickland, and Zerxey Taylor, and daughter, Martha Helen Yarbrough.
Survivors include her son, Floyd Yarbrough of Alvarado, TX, brothers, Charles Christian of AR, and Jerry Strickland of AR, and grandchildren, Martha Williams of Ft. Worth, TX, Terry Yarbrough of Ft. Worth, TX, and Keith Yarbrough of OR.
Pallbearers will be Terry Yarbrough, Keith Yarbrough, Jose Ramos, Jacob Williams, Scott McMillan, and Daniel Johnson.
