Gregory Allen “Greg” Petters, age 62, of Columbus, MS, passed away June 13, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Petters was born November 3, 1958, in Misawa Japan, to the late William Lee and Joyce Essary Petters. He worked in the construction business for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Petters.
Survivors include his brother, Darrell W. Petters and his wife Barbara of Aberdeen, MS, sisters, Sharron D. Leighton of Columbus, MS, Connie V. Dover of Milton, FL, and Kathy L. Cosby of Columbus, MS, and a number of nieces and nephews.
