GLENN RICKMAN

Glenn Everett Rickman age 63, died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center. Services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the 903 College Street Chapel of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8;)) PM, and again Thursday one hour prior to service the College Street location.

Glenn was born on Thursday, March 29, 1956 in Columbus, MS to the late Edward Raiford and Ollie Mae Corbell Rickman.

Glenn was a 1975 graduate of Central Academy and a 1981 graduate at the University of Alabama Birmingham. He was a Respiratory Therapist, having worked at the Winfield Hospital, Princeton Medical Center, Birmingham, UAB, Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, and he  was co-owner of Oxycare Plus. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, was an avid skeet shooter winning many trophies and awards, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Wife: Anita Reid Rickman, Caledonia, MS

Daughters: Heather Swetz (Michael), West Point, MS and Elaina Rickman (Wesley Shay Pierce), Caledonia, MS

Brother: Don Rickman (Sue), Echola, AL

Grand Children: Laney Karg, Rivers Pierce, Kelsie Pierce, Haven Swetz, Bailey Swetz
