GENEICE PARSONS

Evelyn Geneice Partain Parsons age 93 died Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. A graveside service will be held Thursday August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating.

Mrs. Parsons was born on June 1, 1928 in Columbus to the late Rufus Stanley Partain and Gertha Sanders Partain. She was a 1946 graduate of S.D. Lee High School, she met Frank Parsons that same year and they were married in 1949 and eventually settled in Jackson, MS.

Geneice was first and foremost a loving mother and wife. She was all about her family including being the best MeMaw to her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a dedicated employee of AT&T and retired after 25 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank, and her brother Felton Donald Partain.

Great Grandchildren:

Hannah, Garrett, and Jennifer Backstrom, and Haley and Meredith Dennis

Friends & Family will serve as pallbearers.
