GENE LEWIS Doyce Gene Lewis age 87 died Monday, October 18, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the 716 2nd Ave North Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Don Biadog officiating, burial with full U.S. Air Force Honors will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held at Thursday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mr. Lewis was born on Wednesday, June 20, 1934 in Greenwood Springs, MS to the late Floyd and Campie Mae Cantrell Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Robbie Gray Lewis and his son James David Lewis. Survivors include: Daughters: Linda Carol Hayward (Randy), Caledonia, MS Betty Jean Smith (Johnny), Columbus, MS 8 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren
