Gary Lloyd Geeslin of Columbus, Mississippi

October 31, 1940 - August 3, 2020

Gary Lloyd Geeslin, 79, died Monday, August 3, 2020 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory.

The only son of the late O.W. and Agnes Wolfe Geeslin, Mr. Geeslin was born October 31, 1940 in Grenada, MS. He received a B.A. degree from Mississippi State University in 1962 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi Law School in 1968. He was licensed to practice Law for 52 years, specializing in General and Family Law in MS.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Haila Segar Geeslin.

Mr.Geeslin is survived by his wife, Olivia Stanfill Geeslin, of Columbus, his step-mother Joyce Gunter Geeslin of Grenada, his daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Philip Cross and his step-children Patti Lott (Ed), Kathy Winfield ( Zane)  and Melissa McCool (James). He is also survived by his grandchildren Bethany Williamson (Marty) and Dylan Perry and step-grandchildren John Rhett Jourdan, Mary Katherine  Winfield, Whitt Winfield,  John Clayton McCool  and Noah Blaine McCool.
