FREDDIE HUMBERS

Frederick Lynn “Freddie” Humbers, age 67 of Amory, died on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Caledonia, MS.

A funeral service will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Milton Spotts officiating; burial will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Humbers was born on Sunday, March 20, 1955 in Michigan, Indiana, to the late Fred Humbers and Barbara Anita Humbers.  He was a strong, hard-working man.  He worked hard so he could play hard.  Freddie loved to dance and would dance all night long.  He was an Ole Miss fan to heart and loved his family and friends.  He would help any way that he could.  He loved to laugh and cut up.  Freddie was a good time kind of guy.  He loved cars and car shows.  He was a small business owner and proud of all of his work.  He is loved and will be missed, but he is forever in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Stafford Humbers.

He is survived by his  daughter, Mandy Humbers-Nichols (Tim) of Caledonia, MS;  brother, Jason Humbers (Carolyn) of Caledonia, MS; sister, Charlotte Cantrell of Caledonia, MS; and granddaughter, Skylar Payne of Caledonia, MS.
