Freddie Foster "Fred" Grissett, age 76, of Columbus, MS, passed away December 30, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services will be
Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM
at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel
903 College St.
location, with Rev. William Buchanan officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be
from 11:00 AM
until the time of the service.
Mr. Grissett was born October 22, 1945, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Walter and Lillie Mae Davis Grissett. He graduated high school in Red Level, AL. Mr. Grissett retired as sales manager of the copier division of Toshiba Office Products of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Grissett.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Helen Grissett of Columbus, MS, daughters, Stacy Martin and her husband Doug of Collinsville, MS, Ashley Hays and her husband J. P. of Collinsville, MS, and Amy Willis of Munford, TN, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Beckett, Brad Hendrix, Ed Bowles, and Robert Blount.
