FRANKIE TRAYWICK

Frankie Gene Traywick, age 69 died Sunday, November 03, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, November 06, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel 903 College Street Chapel with Rev Don Harding and Chris Harding officiating, burial will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Traywick was born on Tuesday, March 14, 1950 in Columbus to the late Eugene O. and Robbie Smith Traywick.  He worked in the maintenance department of MUW for 28 years. Frankie was always willing to drive from his home in Caledonia to the MUW campus day or night to make sure the students and faculty had cool or warm air. For the last several years he was blessed to work along side his brother, James. Frankie was a giving and caring man to all, especially his family who he adored and they adored him. He loved to play golf and hunting. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Turner, his wife, Mary Traywick, the mother of his children, Lois Turner.
