Frances G. Steverson , age 84 died Wednesday, January 02, 2019 at Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Columbus. Services will be held Friday, January 04, 2019 at    2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel 2 ^nd Ave N Chapel with Jason Heady and Shawn Dickie   officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Steverson was born on Wednesday, January 10, 1934 in Lowndes County, MS to the late James William and Minnie Lou Cloer Gore. She was a member of the Columbus Church of Christ and a retired employee of United Technologies. After retirement she served as a “Pink Lady’ volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Lou Gore Brown, and her brothers, Bud Gore, Clyde Gore, James Clifton Gore, Gayron Garfield Gore, Arthur Elbert Gore, and John Albert Gore.
