Frances Eloise Pannell age 94 died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at her residence in Columbus. Services will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pannell was born on Thursday, June 14, 1928, in AL to the late Robert Llovell and Lucy Belle Burtram Hill. She was a member of Caanan Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Walton Pannell, her son Larry Eugene Pannell, and 2 grandchildren.

Survivors include:

Children: Janet Usher, Columbus, MS Carolyn Vandiver, Columbus, MS Jimmy Pannell (Nina), Columbus, MS Lymon Pannell, Columbus, MS

Daughter-In-Law: Marimac Pannell, Columbus, MS

Brother: Johnny Hill (Rose), San Antonio, TX

11 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
