Frances " Bobbie" Barbara Stephens

BOBBIE STEPHENS - Frances Barbara "Bobbie" Collins Stephens, age 82, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 21, 2022, at Trinity Assisted Living.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stephens was born May 8, 1939, in Waukegan, IL, to the late Alvin and Katherine Wojszwilo Collins.  She worked as an office manager for Dyncorp at the Columbus Air Force Base for a number of years.  Mrs. Stephens and her late husband, Victor Stephens, were members of the Kolola Springs Community for over 50 years.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Isaac Collins, and sister, Marie Tewell.

Survivors include her sons, Alvin Stephens of Hartsville, SC, and Allen Stephens of Columbus, MS, daughter, Normia Stephens of Brooksville, FL, brother, Fred Collins of Lompoc, CA, sisters, Kathleen Strain of Waukegan, IL, and Rosemary Parker of Las Vegas, NV, 8 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
