ELLEN HACKER

Ellen Marie Murphy Hacker age 79 died Friday March 4, 2022 at her residence in Columbus. A graveside service will be held Thursday March 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Lee Jaynes and Jerry Pounders officiating. Mrs. Hacker was born on April 11, 1942 in Columbus to the late Willliam Earl and Elizabeth Woodbury Murphy. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and for many years was a floral designer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Hacker, her son, William “Billy” Hacker, her brother, William Thomas “Billy” Murphy.

Sisters-In-Law: Sarah Jo Muphy, Columbus, Barbara Hacker, Meridian, CT, Mary Bickerstaff, (Keith), Columbus, Darlene Earley, (Don), Cheshire, CT, Carol Boucher, Cheshire, CT

Brother-In-Law: Max Hacker, (Judie), Walllingford, CT

3 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many very special friends.
