Elizabeth Caston “Beth” Bell, age 85 died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Gillon and Rev. Breck Ladd officiating, burial will follow at Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville AL. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:30 PM until service time at the church.

Mrs. Bell was born on Monday, October 23, 1933 in Marshall County, Alabama to the late Hubert and Edna Bain Caston. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a retired accounting clerk at Eka Nobel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Newton Bell and her sister, Ida Edna Wheeler.

She's survived by her Daughter: Debbie McLaurin, Ethelsville, AL; Son: Ronnie Bell (Becky), Ethelsville, AL ; Brothers and sisters: Hubert Caston (Jane), West Point, MS, Herbert Caston (Jean), Columbus, MS; and Carolyn Akin (Tom), Oak Ridge, TN; Sister-in-law: Jo Alyce Moore (Lawrence), Ethelsville, AL; Brother-in-laws: George Bell (Inez), Ethelsville, AL and Larry Bell (Cherrie), Smyrna, GA; Grandchildren: Brian Bell (Jennifer), Michael McLaurin (Jaime), Jonathan Bell (Lindsay), and Steven McLaurin (Fiance, Darby Neal); Great-Grandchildren: Baker Bell, Barrett Bell,  and Josie Bell.Mrs. Bell is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Bell, Michael McLaurin, Jonathan Bell, Steven McLaurin, Steve Speed, and David Hyde.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Sarah Colburn, Cliff and Marty Loden, Dean and Marsha Barber, Wanda Aldridge, and the members of The Ester Sunday school class at Fairview Baptist Church.

The family would like to give  special thanks for Mrs. Bell’s caregiver, Olivia Spann.
