Douglas Lynn “Doug” Lawrence age 76, died Friday April 26, 2024 at his residence in Steens. Graveside services will be held Tuesday April 30, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Doug was born on June 12, 1947 in Winfield, Alabama to the late J.L. Lawrence and Maureen Rhodes Lawrence. He was a former car salesman and fire fighter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Holliman Lawrence, his sons, Johnny Lynn Lawrence, and Todd Douglas Lawrence, and his brother, David Joe Lawrence
