Donna Richards Brandon Wade, age 79, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 24, 2024, at Trinity Healthcare. Graveside services will be Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Luke Lawson officiating. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wade was born March 25, 1945, in Columbus, MS, to the late Guy and Murla Studdard Richards, Sr. She was a graduate of Lee High School and retired from AT & T after 32 years. Mrs. Wade was a lifelong member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was an elder and served on the fellowship committee. She enjoyed volunteering at Trinity Healthcare where she was a resident. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wesley Brandon, and brother, Guy Richards, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Sam Wade of Columbus, MS, daughter, Daphne Westover and her husband Justin of West Point, MS, step daughter, Elise Wade Ingram and her husband Jimmy of Crystal Springs, MS, brother, Ted Richards and his wife Donna of Columbus, MS, and grandsons, Brandon Westover of West Point, MS, and Heath Westover of West Point, MS.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Westover, Heath Westover, Neal Austin, John Taylor, Greg Youngblood, and Trey Freeman.
