Donald Ray Pierce

DON PIERCE - Donald Ray "Don" Pierce, age 61, of Ethelsville, AL, passed away October 18, 2022, at his residence.  Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Jerry Pounders officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Mr. Pierce was born October 26, 1960, in Columbus, MS, to the late Allen and Betty Wiedner Pierce.  He formerly owned and operated The Country Mart on Hwy 182.  Mr. Pierce currently owned and operated Hall's Towing for many years and attended Freedom Church of Caledonia.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Harmond, and nephew, Guy Fowlkes.

Survivors include his wife, Rena Clark Pierce of Ethelsville, AL, son, Codie Ray Pierce of Baton Rouge, LA, brother, Jerry Pierce and his wife Cindy of Caledonia, MS, sister, Sherry Fowlkes of Columbus, MS, and granddaughter, Raylee Grace Pierce.

Pallbearers will be Allen Boykin, Jeremy Boykin, Mark Fulgham, Steve Younger, Jerry "Bubba" Fitch, John Foster, Nathan Sprouse, and Tony Walker.
