Deana Rae Coker

DEANA COKER - Deana Rae Coker, age 51, of Steens, MS, passed away January 10, 2024, at her residence.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on November 13, 1972, to the late Donald "Cottie" Coker and Martha Gamboa.  Deana enjoyed spending time with her niece, Raelyn.  She was an adventurous person who loved traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.  She was preceded in death by her son, Eli Clayton Rae Coker, her father, Donald Coker, grandmother, Peggy Jones, and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her companion, Fred Nichols of Steens, MS, mother, Martha Gamboa (Trinidad), brothers, Steven Gamboa (Brittany), of Sturgis, KY, and Juan Gamboa of Uniontown, KY.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
