Mrs. Dean Warren Perkins Harper Threet, 90, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Arrington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, 2 nd Avenue North location. Services will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Butler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The daughter of the late William Addie and Terah Seals Warren, Mrs. Threet was born March 17, 1929 in Detroit, AL. She was employed for several years at American Bosch, and she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Pete Warren, Robert Warren, Mavis Chandler and Thelma McPherson, her daughter Alice Faye Perkins Hemby, and her husbands Brandon Perkins, Davis P. Harper and Kermit Curtis Threet.
Mrs. Threet is survived by her son Davis P. Harper, Jr. of West Point, her daughter Pamela Joy Harper Valentine of Olmstead, IL, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ben Jorden, Dennis Gilmore, Rick Conner, John Mark Jolly, Andy Perkins and Avery Duncan.
