CYNTHIA PICKENS

Cynthia Ann Pickens age 66 died Thursday March 3, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. A funeral service will be held Monday March 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Pastor Kenny Gardner officiating; burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery near Fayette, AL. Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pickens was born on February 15, 1956 to the late M.L. Howard and Estelle Brazil Rushing of Columbus. She retired as an RN with Baptist Memorial Hospital after 35 years and Baptist Hospice for 17 years. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Donald Wayne Pickens, Jr., and her brother Ted Allen Howard.

Terry Howard (Kaye), Columbus, MS

Grandchildren:

Michael Pickens, Mylee Pickens, Floyd Pickens, Casper Pickens, Allison Woodson, and Ember Woodson.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Floyd Pickens, Caspar Pickens, Michael Wayne Pickens, Allen Woodson, Marty Sullivan, and David Barton

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Terry Howard and Baptist Hospice.
