CYNTHIA BISHOP

Cynthia Kay Bishop, age 70, of Millport, AL, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her residence in Millport, AL.  A funeral service will be held Saturday April 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Gillis officiating; burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Cynthia was born in Columbus on April 1, 1951 to the late James H. Wright and Peggy Sansing Vaughn. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Bishop and her step-brother Joe Vaughn.

Son: Victor Gibson, Oxford, MS

Mother: Peggy Vaughn, Millport, AL

Sisters: Peggy Jean Young, Suzette Durdahl

Step-sisters: Judy Harrison, and Sheila Dykes

Step-brother: Brad Vaughn

6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild

Serving as pallbearers will be: Caleb Morrison, Blake Owens, Brad Vaughn, Allen Brazzell, and Bobby Wright
