CRAIG MURRAY - Steven Craig Murray, Sr., age 63, of Steens, MS, passed away December 28, 2022, at his residence. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Josh Boone officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM on Saturday at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Murray was born December 9, 1959, in Columbus, MS, to the late L. E. and Willeen Reid Murray. He was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and retired as a district manager from Coca Cola Bottling Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike Murray and Wayne Murray.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Debbie Murray of Steens, MS, sons, Steven Craig Murray, Jr. and his wife Brittany of Starkville, MS, and Thomas Edley Murray of Steens, MS, daughter, Michelle Davis and her husband Corey of Vernon, AL, brother, Gary Murray and his wife Sandra of Columbus, MS, sister-in-law, Guin Murray of Birmingham, AL, and grandchildren, Breonna Davis, Anson Davis, and Kameron Davis.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Murray, Gary Murray, Clay Boone, Josh Boone, Chance White, and Corey Davis.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
