Steven C. Wallace, Jr., “Colt,” age 28, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2022. He was born December 7, 1993 to Steve and Teena Wallace in Oxford, MS. A 2012 graduate from Caledonia High School, Colt went on to graduate from Mississippi University for Women with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, and most recently, a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law.

Colt was best known for his infectious smile and loveable character. Some of the greatest joys in his life came from hunting, golfing, boating, and spending time with his loved ones. He never met a stranger and made everyone he came in contact with feel loved and heard in his own special way. His witty comments, contagious giggle, and charm will be missed by everyone who loved him. He was an unmistakable light in this world, the embodiment of the joy of living; to know him was to love him.

Colt is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Teena Wallace. He is survived by his sisters Clara Wallace and Christy White; brothers Gregory and Bill Sugg; girlfriend Mackenzie Carver; nephews, niece, aunts, cousins, many friends that he considered family; and of course his beloved dog Moose.

Services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church, 127 Airline Rd. Columbus, MS 39702, on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm. All of those who knew and loved Colt are invited to join us as we celebrate his remarkable life.
