CLAUDE C. BRYANT, JR.
Claude C. Bryant, Jr. Age 83, died Wednesday October 11, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. A funeral service will be held Sunday October 15, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory; burial with U.S. Army Honors will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryant was born on June 20, 1940, in Fayette County, TN to the late Claude C. and Elaine Cook Bryant, Sr. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Lois H. Bryant, and his brothers, Ronnie Bryant and Thomas Bryant.
Survivors include:
Wife: Nelda H. Bryant, of Columbus, daughter Nikkie McGrew of Biloxi, MS, son, Michael Roy Bryant, (Mary), of Columbus.
Step-son: Dylan Langford
Brothers, Howard Bryant, Eugene Bryant, and Harry Bryant
grandchildren: Michael Bryant, Jr., Harmony Perez, Shelby Bryant Barnhill, Madison McGrew, Peyton McGrew, and Dakota McGrew.
And a host of great grandchildren, nieces & nephew.
