Clara Burnett Sims age 84, died Friday, May 01, 2020 at Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Columbus. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 04, 2020 at 4:30 PM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Rev. Melvin Mordecai officiating,
Mrs. Sims was born on Saturday, September 07, 1935 in Columbus to the late Damon and Clara Shields Walker. She was a seamstress and a line supervisor at Seminole Manufacturing until her retirement. Mrs. Sims was of the Baptist faith and attended Plymouth Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she along with her late husband of 55 years, Howard enjoyed camping and fishing. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Faye Walker, and her brother-in-law Herbert Junkin.
