Charles Haskell Jackson Starkville - Charles Haskell Jackson, 69, of Starkville, MS, passed away March 30, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1951. He is survived by wife Brenda Shamburger Jackson, son John William Jackson, and daughters Mary Claire Martin and Carol Jackson Satterfield. He was preceded in death by his parents William Haskell and Gertrude Carpenter Jackson. Charles was a proud Lee High School graduate and Mississippi state alumnus. During his tenure at Lee High School, he led the baseball team to the 1986 4A MHSAA championship. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and Sons of the American Revolution. Charles was a loving husband and father. He had a passion for education, whether it was in the public school or secondary system both as a teacher and principal. His positive and far-reaching influence inspired his students to strive for their best in the classroom, on the field, and in life. With an unparalleled and contagious work ethic, he always led by example. A small, private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection at 105 N Montgomery Street in Starkville, MS
