Charles Douglas Arnold, age 88 died Friday, September 04, 2020 at his residence in Columbus. A graveside service with U.S. Air Force Honors will be held Tuesday, September 08, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton, MS with Rev. Mel Howton officiating.

Mr. Arnold was born on Friday, April 08, 1932 in Abingdon, VA to the late Basil and Gertrude Wann Arnold. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. After his retirement he continued on in the same position for another 20 years as a civil service employee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pansey Katrina Arnold Stark. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 2 nd Ave N is in charge of arrangements.
