Carolyn Hudnall Brown

CAROLYN BROWN – Carolyn Hudnall Brown, age 87, of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away December 28, 2018, at her residence. Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 2 ^nd Ave. Funeral will be at 2:00 at Memorial Gunter Peel and graveside services will follow at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Andy Pearson officiating. Mrs. Brown was born April 5, 1931, in Shuqualak, MS, to the late Carrie Brown and Connie B. Lagrone, Sr. She was a graduate of Shuqualak High School and East Mississippi Junior College in Scooba, MS. Mrs. Brown worked as a bank teller for a number of years at First Columbus National Bank, Arlington State Bank of Arlington, TX, and Union Planters Bank of Memphis, TN, prior to becoming a stay at home mother. She was a long time member of Wesley United Methodist Church and her Church Circle Group in Columbus and a regular attender of Whitesburg Baptist Church since moving to Huntsville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Hudnall, Sr. and Randolph Brown, and brother, Connie B. Lagrone, Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Charles E. Hudnall, Jr. and his wife Merrill of Huntsville, AL, and Joel H. Hudnall and his wife Neely of Madison, MS, and grandchildren, Erin Baldwin and husband Jordan of Huntsville, AL, Madison Hanson and husband Joey of Memphis, TN, Kendall Hudnall of Huntsville, AL, Harper Hudnall of Madison, MS, and Hampton Hudnall of Madison, MS.

Pallbearers will be Harper Hudnall, Hampton Hudnall, Jordan Baldwin, Joey Hanson, John Hillhouse, Jr. and Todd Gale.
