CAMILLE HARRIS

Camille Harris age 74 died Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the 903 College Street Chapel of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harris was born on Saturday, January 18, 1947 in Columbus, MS to the late Robert and Oline Randall Davis. On July 25 th 1966 she married C.F. Harris, Jr. She worked in retail for over 35 years, at Ruth’s Shop and Reed’s Department Store. She loved working in the retail business and helping customers, co-workers, and friends. Her greatest love was her family especially her grandchildren, daughter, son-in-law, and her dog “Chocolate”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Olin and Mary Randall, Mr. And Mrs. Seth Davis, and her niece Tatum Younger.

Survivors include:

Husband - C. F. Harris, Jr., Columbus, MS

Daughter - Bethany Harris Henry (Fred), Birmingham, AL

Sister - Rosemary Crowe, Columbus, MS

Grandchildren- Mary Fox Henry, Grace Henry, Millie Henry

And a host of nieces and nephews
