Bonnie Pearson, 69, of Steens, MS passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Starkville Manor. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Walter Butler officiating. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pearson was born on July 3, 1954 in Columbus, MS to Pansy Elizabeth Bigham and the late James V. Bigham. She was a homemaker and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Pearson. She is survived by her three children, Kristi Knight (Chris), Donald Kevin Payne, and Kenneth James Payne; mother, Pansy Bigham; four grandchildren, Tyler Knight, Mallory Benefield (Chris), Victoria Murchie, and Jordan Payne; four great grandchildren, River Knight, Cayson Benefield, Averie Benefield, and Jaxon Benefield; three siblings, Stanley Bigham (Diana), Gary Bigham, and Aubrey Bigham; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stanley Bigham, Gary Bigham, Aubrey Bigham, Chris Knight, Jordan Payne, Josh Bigham, John Helton, and Chris Benefield.
