BOBBY LOLLAR Robert Leon "Bobby" Lollar, age 84, of Bedford, TX, passed away December 9, 2021, at Harris Methodist Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 903 College St. location with Rev. Bobby Sanderson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location. Mr. Lollar was born April 17, 1937, in Columbus, MS, to the late Robert Lewis and Mildred Stuckey Lollar. He played baseball for the Columbus Redbirds and was a graduate of Ole Miss. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 32 years from civil service. Mr. Lollar loved coaching baseball and worked for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders on the football field for 10 years. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ruby Lovell Lollar of Bedford, TX, son, Brett Lewis Lollar of Bedford, TX, daughters, Lynn Cunningham of Bedford, TX, and Tracey Raasch of Virginia Beach, VA, brother, Danny Guy Lollar of Davenport, FL, sister, Janice Loftis of Brentwood, TN, grandchildren, Evan Cunningham, Sara Cunningham, Emma Lollar, and Charlee Jochens, and great grandchildren, Madeline Cunningham and Jayce Cunningham. Pallbearers will be Mitch Griffin, Casey Blair, Billy Holliman, Evan Cunningham, and Bob McEwen. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 16 Northtown Dr., Jackson, MS, 39211.
