Billy Lee Brasfield age 84 died Wednesday, January 03, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, January 06, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Pastor Kenny Gardner officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Mr. Brasfield was born on Tuesday, January 02, 1940, in Smithville, MS to the late Larry Cecil Brasfield and Allie Mae Stanford Brasfield. He was a retired construction superintendent for Pryor Construction after 20 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Billy Brasfield, Jr., and Larry Joe Brasfield, and his granddaughter, Jessica Brasfield.
