Bettye Miller Jones, age 89 died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at her residence in Columbus. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Masonic Cemetery in Amory, with Rev. Anne Russell Bradley officiating. Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church, Columbus Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Mrs. Jones was born on Saturday, October 19, 1929 in Amory, MS to the late Erie and Orlene Roberts Miller. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Columbus, and a retired employee of Mississippi Valley Gas (Atmos Energy).
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Jones, her son-in-law, William Paul Coggin, and her grand son-in-law, Travis Todd Weathers.
