BETSY SMITH
Betsy Luann Smith age 62 died Saturday January 8, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday January 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Egger Cemetery with Rev. Mel Howton officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 903 College Street location of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home. Betsy was born on February 11, 1959 in Lamar County, Alabama to Betty McReynolds Brock and the late Johnny Leobert Brock. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a retired administrative assistant at the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department.
