Barbara Ann Richardson age 84 died Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Minister Jay Street officiating; visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Richardson was born on Tuesday, October 24, 1939, in Winston County, MS to the late Gilbert Oakley and Beulah Denton Yates Eaves. She was a member of the Highway 69 Church of Christ and a graduate of New Hope High School. Mrs. Richardson was the owner/operator of The Paint Store in Columbus for many years and was a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital for 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Richardson, Sr., her sisters, LaRue Farrah, and Anita Blake, and her brothers, Larry Eaves, Phillip Eaves, and Joel Eaves.
