Barbara Glenn Coleman

BARBARA COLEMAN - Barbara Glenn Coleman, age 79, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 5, 2024, at her residence.  Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Jack Taylor officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Coleman was born November 6, 1944, in Orange County, TX, to the late James Edward and Dorothy Jean Shook Glenn.  She was a graduate of New Hope High School.  Mrs. Coleman was a retired supervisor from Seminole Manufacturing and of the Baptist faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Coleman, brother, Mitchell Glenn, and sister, Nancy Glenn.
Survivors include her son, Mike Coleman and his wife Brendy of Ethelsville, AL, daughter, Brenda Irvin and her husband Dennis of Columbus, MS, brothers, Edwin Glenn of Columbus, MS, and Alan Glenn and his wife Billie Sue of Columbus, MS, sisters, Beverly Wheeler and her husband David of Vernon, AL, and Linda Bordeaux of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren, Dustin Hemphill, Cory Hemphill, Anthony Coleman, and Shelly Malone and her husband Dalton, and 5 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Hemphill, Cory Hemphill, Anthony Coleman, Andy Coleman, David Wheeler, Chris Purcell, Rick Glenn, Cody Coleman, and Larry Coleman.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
