Austin Mann

Walter Austin Mann, age 61, of Columbus, MS, passed away September 30, 2024, at Windsor Place. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating and Pastor David Honeycutt assisting. The interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

 Mr. Mann was born July 12, 1963, in Columbus, MS, to the late Hugh W. Mann and Gladys Austin Mann of Columbus, MS. He was a graduate of Caldwell High School and owner of M. & M Enterprise. Mr. Mann was a board member of the Municipal Credit Union and a ham radio operator. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vannoy and Mary Austin, and Bob and Ola Mann.

 Pallbearers will be Ken Campbell, Clint Stinson, Charles Rogers, Allen Cantrell, Denny Rutherford, and Johnny Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Cline, Dale Brewer, Don Pennington, W. L. Godfrey, Gary Nickoles, Randy Nickoles, Jerry Nickoles, Bruce Patrick, Jimmy Minor, Neal Austin, and David Palmer.
