ANNIE KESSINGER

Annie Morris Kessinger, age 93, of Albany, GA, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her daughter’s residence.  Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Sanderson officiating.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kessinger was born June 6, 1927, in Columbus, MS, to the late Grover and Catherine Hopkins Morris.  She lived in Albany, GA, since 1975 and was a Presbyterian.  Mrs. Kessinger retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Kessinger, and her son, Joel Michael Killman.

Survivors include her daughters, Kay Bracknell and her husband Joe of Albany, GA, and Teresa Killman of Columbus, MS, granddaughter, Heather Adams, great granddaughter, Kyla Williams, and stepdaughter, Sara Gifford of Divide, CO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Albany Rescue Mission, 604 N. Monroe St., Albany, GA, 31701 .
