ALTER LEE TOWNSEND

Alter Lee Townsend,age 87 died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Aurora Health & Rehab Center in Columbus. Services will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Church with Rev. James Gardner officiating,  burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.

Mrs. Townsend was born on Saturday, October 24, 1931 in Carrollton, MS to the late     Jimmy and Ruby Lee Corder Story. She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jessie R. Townsend, her brother Sonny Story, her granddaughter April Anderson, and her great grandson Dustin Anderson.
